Job Specification

Manage defined vendors and their product ranges across EMEA to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.

  • Formulate and implement an annual marketing plan for vendors including product, pricing, channel & promotional strategies
  • Maintain and develop key vendor relationships ensuring vendor satisfaction and on-going retention through regular interaction, including monthly reporting
  • Manage the product range including product lifecycles
  • Coordinate all vendor/product activities with key internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, purchasing, customer services, finance)
  • Develop the core positioning and key messaging to the channel and end-user audiences working with the PR and Comms team
  • Manage the marketing budget in line with an agreed plan
  • Develop and maintain strategic collaborations with key Industry partners including third parties and brand influencers/ambassadors
  • Create sales forecasts by market segment and geographic region
  • Drive sales together with the international sales team and key accounts
  • Develop sales tools and collateral and train internal and external teams
  • Act as vendor and product champion within the company
  • Monitor market trends, opportunities and threats including competitor activity
  • Conduct market research, collecting analysing and responding to feedback from both the channel and end-users
  • Support resellers/vendors at key exhibitions and reseller events
  • Attend conferences and events related to the product or industry segment
  • Identify new vendor and product opportunities
  • Set up controls, report on key performance indicators and manage performance

Person Specification

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Product Marketing Manager
  • Business or marketing related degree or equivalent
  • Commercially minded with good decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated success of launching new products and product promotions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  • International experience desirable
  • Knowledge of the digital imaging industry desirable
